Open Pitch Days
The founders of Startupbootcamp Amsterdam, Patrick de Zeeuw and Ruud Hendriks, are presenting start-ups (national and international) with the opportunity to showcase their business idea to them and other top mentors that are working within the programme. During the ‘Open Pitch Days’ start-ups will receive constructive feedback on their pitch. It also gives start-ups a chance to get acquainted with the Startupbootcamp Programme in the early stage and provides the Startupbootcamp team with opportunity to spot some potential start-ups for Startupbootcamp Amsterdam 2013. The ‘Open Pitch Days’ are scheduled for September 19th, October 19th and November 19th. Start-ups can register via the Startupbootcamp website: http://www.startupbootcamp.org/europeans-cities/amsterdam/openpitchdays/.
Startupbootcamp attendees successful after Investor Demo Day
After the Startupbootcamp Investor Demo Day (where the ten participating teams have presented their business concept to more than 350 investors) all teams were approached by interested investors, ranging from 9 to even 35 investors per team. Most teams received investments offer and have signed term sheets according to meet their necessary investment needs. The teams have developed enormously throughout the process, and have an estimated combined total value of twenty million euro’s. This valuation is based on the signed term sheets and bids from investors.
After the intense three-month mentorship driven programme that culminated during the Investor Demo Day, the start-ups have been given the opportunity to stay and work at the Startupbootcamp headquarters until the end of September. In this so called ‘fading out’ phase the teams have the possibility to get some last direct support from the accelerator programme. After this stage start-ups will go their own way and Startupbootcamp will remain in the background in an advisory role.
